The greatest effort was made especially in the vineyards with the re-planting of both international vines such as chardonnay, which of native vines such as malvasia puntinata, bombino and grechetto, with a high number of vines per hectare in order to obtain of wines with greater body and structure, and this with a view to pursuing an improvement in quality in line with the new demands of consumers. Naturally, also for the red varieties, the Company has followed the same philosophy, focusing on precious vines such as Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot , Syrah , Montepulciano and Sangiovese and refining part of the wines obtained in barrique.

The cultivation takes place respecting the environment by reducing, thanks to new techniques, the use of fungicidal products. The Villafranca Winery is part of the Frascati Wine Protection Consortium , a wine that has made the history of Laziale viticulture and has always been a source of pride abroad.
