A part of the Marchesi de’ Cordano winery – Tenuta Palazzo Battaglini is located in the municipality of Villamagna (Chieti), between the Majella massif and the Adriatic Sea. Its 18 hectares of vineyards, mainly cultivated with native vines such as Montepulciano (12,91,86 hectares), Trebbiano (2,39,80 hectares) and Pecorino (1,72,70 hectares), are located at a height of 255 meters above sea level, with South-East exposure. In this terroir, the cultivation of large grapes finds the ideal conditions to express itself at its best, as the area is characterized by a clayey and calcareous-marly soil.
