About Haras de Pirque
The history of two fine passions in a unique and privileged place located in the Maipo Valley, rises smoothly in its southern limit by the slopes of a transversal cordon of the Cordillera de los Andes, in Pirque, Chile. Between 1992 and 1998, one hundred and forty hectares of vineyards were planted, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Syrah and Cabernet Franc, between the red and Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc strains; from which fine wines of excellence are born. The name Haras de Pirque in honor of the oldest Fina Sangre Hatchery, founded in 1892.
